01
The problem
Real-estate brokers need a fast way to publish and manage inventory while buyers and renters need structured discovery across purpose, location, budget, property type, and specifications. Makaanza needed to deliver those workflows consistently across a responsive website and mobile application while also supporting verification, bidding, communication, and protected platform operations.
02
Architecture and decisions
I developed the responsive React website and React Native mobile application against a dedicated REST API so both products could share property inventory, accounts, bids, and media without duplicating business rules. React Router supports web inventory and property-detail routes, while Supabase Storage keeps listing imagery outside the application server. PrimeReact provides consistent administration controls for reporting, verification, user management, property publishing, and duplicate review.
